Another amazing Cassidy Edwards story.I love this series so much. There is a badass main character who is also kind of an idiot when it comes to the charmed world, which is fun because it helps explain how the world works without going into history lessons that can be boring.
Lucian is a fabulous character, there was a bit less of him in this book than the others but there is still quite a bit.
There are some exciting twists that I did not see coming, but it also starts to tie up some of the questions that were left from the other books in the series.
I'm so excited for the next one

I must admit that while reading the first book, I was not sure about the direction of the series. However, I keep reading the series and I enjoy them.
Can't wait for book five to come out. I've truly enjoyed reading Carmen Caines books and can't wait for more books about Cassidy Edwards.
These books just keep better as they go along!!! If you are looking for a book that each page brings you to the edge of your seat and you have to kerp reading because its just soo good you can't put it down, then look no more because this book will do just that. I can't wait for the next book so I can visit the world created by fabulous writer Carmen Caine.
I recieved an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review. The book was fast-paced. It picks ups directly after the events of Mindbreaker. I recommend reading the books in order. For further backstory I would also suggest the two novella's. I was instantly hooked on Rebel. I am a long time fan of the Cassidy Edwards Monster Series. My one wish is that the books were a little longer. I can't wait for more Cassidy and Lucian. There is a cliffhanger at the end. I would highly recommend this Series to any paranormal readers out there. No Spoilers here!!!
Love Cassidy! She is not perfect (Mary Sue) and she doesn't take herself too seriously or have an inflated ego. She is funny, confident (or does an awesome job faking it) and a truly likable character. Really a breath of air in this genre. These stories remain fresh after 4 books in and I hope there are many more to come. Very nicely done Carmen Caine.
The fourth book in the Cassidy Edwards series is as well thought out as the first and, IMHO, even better. So much more story, more fill-in the blanks for Cassidy, more awful dad Emilio, and, oh my, Lucien. Cassidy still wants to destroy Emilio but is learning to be a bit more subtle (or is it conniving?). No spoilers, so no more plot discussion here. A bit of a cliff-hanger at the end, but I was not surprised simply due to how the plot unfolded. Hopefully, still lots to come in this intense, frequently snarky, a little romantic (come on you two!), and lots action oriented. Sighing and moaning. I want the next novel now.
I should be honest. I received the book for free for an honest review. With that said, omfg it's so great. This book seriously gets better and better the more you read it. I'm usually a one and done kinda girl for reading books. It's rare that I reread books. I NEED to reread these books again and again. They're that good. The character development is great. Carmen's writing skills has improved immensely since the beginning of these books, which I noticed when I reread them. She's developing a great voice and the plot, characters, and overall feeling of the books are improving because of it. I really hope this gets turned into a movie series. It'd be great.
